He keeps his eyes downcast, feeling as though he shouldn't look at Adam. Doesn't deserve the respect that eye contact entails.

And he moves with incredible speed and accuracy, on the target almost instantly. Like he was fueled by anger or frustration as well as a simple necessity to obey.
