He could make decisions for anyone else in the whole world and not hesitate. With Adam it feels... wrong. His creator is supposed to tell him what to do and when. It is not his place to choose for Him, in any way. Except that Adam is asking this of him.
He breathes relief at the praise, happiness sparking in his wires. He did good, making a decision, not making Him wait.
Then, suddenly, he's being swung in an arc onto the bed. He feels it in slow motion, the workings of his system ready to react in a way that is defensible, as if this were combat. But it isn't. So he allows himself to be thrown, feeling more sparks of something in his chassis. Excitement? Fear? Pleasure?
He lands as well as he can manage without altering the course Adam set for him, watching though his hair for a sign of how to react.
